Annual Events

ANNUAL EVENTS

Tree Lighting

On the second Thursday after Thanksgiving, in early December, we gather under the Pavilion to light the town tree and await Santa's arrival.  Enjoy cookies and cocoa around the fire pits or have your photo taken by the "gingerbread house."

Egg Hunt

As part of our spring Storytime programming for preschool-aged children, we host an Egg Hunt on the playground complete with a visit from the Easter bunny.

Memorial Day Parade

Would you like to "march" in the parade? Patrons are welcome to join us for this annual event.  Dress as a favorite character and walk the one-mile parade route while we pass out candy.

Trucks of West Greenwich

As part of our Summer Reading Program, members of the West Greenwich Police Department, Department of Public Works, and Fire and Rescue Departments bring their fire engines, police cruisers, payloader, dump trucks, and other large and very special vehicles for children to explore! (Grown-ups love it too.)

Family Fun Day

New in September 2023, check out the town website for details
