ASK RI is a suite of databases including more than a dozen different resources: search educational and career resources, test prep and practice tests, World Book Encyclopedia, magazines, biography, history and other reference materials, automotive repair, or learn a foreign language.


In addition to the magazines at the library, we subscribe to the online service. Contact the library to obtain our username and password to use from your personal devices.


Browse all the major Rhode Island news publications online for free through NewsBank. From the Providence Journal to the Coventry Courier, Louttit Library patrons can access all digital copies.


Stream indie movies, documentaries, art house titles, classics, and more from home through Kanopy. Louttit Library patrons can enjoy up to six titles per month.


Borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, graphic novels, and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, phone and TV. Titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded.


Download ebooks to your kindle or stream in your browser! Listen to audiobooks and borrow movie titles as well. Patrons can take out up to 8 titles at once. Use your library card number and PIN to sign up.



We have new Roger Williams Zoo discount codes! Patrons can order tickets with the discounted codes on the zoo's website here. Please contact the library for the discount code for the day you plan to attend the zoo (tickets may only be purchased for a particular day and time).


We also have Mystic Seaport Museum passes available now. Each pass entitles up to two adults and three children (ages 3-17) to 50% of full price admissions. Contact the library for the day pass you would like.

Other Ocean State Libraries have passes to more museums and attractions.  You can search by museum/attraction name in the library catalog to see which libraries have the pass you are looking for.  Always call the loaning library to make sure a pass is available for out of town patrons.  Passes will need to be picked up and returned to the owning library.
