1. What size is the meeting room in the Community Center?
32'x32'
2. How many people will it hold?
It depends if you are having them seated, seated at tables, or just standing.
Seated: no more than 68 maximum
Seated at tables: 48-56 maximum
Standing: Fire code limit = 100 but this is not recommended, way too tight...
3. How many tables are there? What size are they?
There are 12 movable tables (72"x30") and 1 fixed wood table (94"x42").
4. How many chairs are there?
More than enough.
5. What is available for use in the kitchen?
This space is not intended for substantial meal preparation. There is a refrigerator, stove, microwave and sink. All foodstuffs must be removed at the end of the event.
6. May we use the perishable items, paper goods, and disposable items in the kitchen?
No, these are all the property of the library and are NOT for use by groups using the room. Cleaning supplies are the exception: garbage can liners, paper towels, sponges and cleaning agents (stored under the sink,) should be used to keep this space clean by all groups using it.
7. May we use the cutlery, serving utensils, platters and dishtowels in the kitchen?
Yes, please wash, dry, and put them away where they were found. Leave used dishtowels hanging on the stove or over the sink. We will launder them.
8. We have leftover food and supplies, can we leave them in the CC and donate them to the library?
No, please do not leave food or perishable goods of any kind in the kitchen, freezer or refrigerator. New/unused paper products, plastic cutlery, cups, or plastic wrap, etc. may be left.
9. Where are the clean trash can liners? Where is the dumpster?
After you take the garbage can liner out to bring to the dumpster, (across the parking lot to the left of the donation bins,) clean liners are either in the bottom of the trash can, under the kitchen sink, or in a bottom cupboard near the sink.
